Scope and content

This file records whether an institution is the managing or owning body of a museum. The key to the INSTROLE table is DOMUS/INSTROLE/ONO. Note: For the MGC version of the DOMUS system, there should be only one managing and one owning body recorded for each museum (key would be DOMUS/INSTROLE). The system was developed to allow Area Museum Councils to enter their own data, and therefore the system allows other entries.
