Nature and content

Scope and content

This dataset holds population data for Health and Local Authorities derived from the 1991 Census as part of the 1999 Compendium of Clinical and Health Indicators (CCHI). Some population indicators are also included in the General Health category (CRDA/24/DS/1999/3). Further information about the CCHI is provided in the Series and Sub-series Catalogues. The dataset consists of 19 tables which contain various population indicators and projections taken from the 1991 Census Small Area Statistics. The few differences between this and the 1993 supplement are mostly due to the latter being produced using the more detailed Census Local Base Statistics.
