Abstract
 | The record series was owned by the Enemy Property Claims Assessment Panel Secretariat. It relates to a scheme set up in 1999 by the UK Government, under which victims of Nazi persecution could apply for compensation for seizure of their assets by the UK during the Second World War under the Trading With The Enemy legislation. Compensation for both individual and commercial claims was considered by EPCAP. The record series contains data derived from research using wartime records in the Board of Trade TWE series. The dataset is a record of the value of assets that were released, and the names of those they were released to. |
