Abstract

EAD

This dataset contains data from the administration of the Earning Top-up (ETU) pilot scheme introduced by the Department of Social Security in 1996. The pilot ran for 3 years. ETU was an income-related in-work benefit aimed to encourage single people and couples without dependant children to take up or stay in work of 16 hours a week or more.
