We have tried as far as possible, given the nature of our website, to follow good practice in designing accessible web pages,
particularly the RNIB document Accessible web design . We
have not been able to follow all the recommendations of such bodies in all cases. In particular, the use of tables to layout what is
tabular data is unavoidable.
If you are a visually impaired user using a graphical browser, you may find it useful to tell your browser to override our background
colour settings and to turn off image loading so that you see the alternative text for navigation buttons and similar items. We avoid
using absolute font sizes or specific typefaces, so it should always be possible to adjust the default text size in your browser and
scale pages to suit your needs. Users of speaking web browsers should not encounter any difficulties accessing the simple format of
most of the text on this website.
We welcome any suggestions on how we could improve the website interface for blind and visually impaired users. Please see our
Contact information page for details of how to get in touch.
